The RCPAQAP Haematology in conjunction with AIMS hold 2 combined Malarial Parasite and Morphology Workshops each year.
The Malarial Parasite workshop is now being incorporated into the morphology workshop and is no longer optional. This makes the workshops two and a half days, commencing Thursday.
Thursday (11:30-17:00): Malarial Parasite workshop
Friday and Saturday (8:00 - 17:00): Morphology Workshop. This Workshop is run over 2 days, with sessions on setting up a microscope, staining, RBC morphology, Bone Marrows, Leukaemia, Myelodysplastic syndromes, Thalassaemias and Paediatric morphology.
Speakers include prominent pathologists and scientists who volunteer their time and donate slides and notes for each workshop.
Participants should expect an intensive program which provides the opportunity for hands on review of cases and assistance from experts, where required, from pathologists and scientists.
2013 scheduled dates for the workshops are:
30th, 31st May and 1st June 2013
25th, 26th and 27th July 2013
