The RCPA Immunology QAP is located on the campus of the Flinders Medical Centre, a 500 bed public teaching hospital in Adelaide, South Australia. The Immunology QAP provides world class accredited External quality assurance (EQA) in Clinical Immunology to approximately 560 laboratories in Australasia and overseas. The Program features patient specimens with clinical notes, rapid turnaround of reports, scientific support, web based data entry and prompt, professional service.

Training & Competency Assessment 2013

Training & Competency Assessment for 2013 new_icon

Welcome to the RCPA Quality Assurance Programs web training portal. The pilot modules offered in 2012 have been well received by participants. New modules are currently under development and will be offered throughout 2013.

Modules under development include;

  • QC/QA for Microbiology/Serology
  • QC/QA for Chemistry
  • QA/QC for Haematology
  • Anatomy and Normal Cytology of the Female Genital Tract - cellular components identified in cervical smears
  • Pathology Sample collection

a An administration section is currently under development, where managers should be able to assign relevant courses for each staff member they manage, monitor progress and identify training needs using reporting tools.
