Training & Competency Assessment 2013
Training & Competency Assessment for 2013 new_icon

Welcome to the RCPA Quality Assurance Programs web training portal. The pilot modules offered in 2012 have been well received by participants. New modules are currently under development and will be offered throughout 2013.

Modules under development include;

  • QC/QA for Microbiology/Serology
  • QC/QA for Chemistry
  • QA/QC for Haematology
  • Anatomy and Normal Cytology of the Female Genital Tract - cellular components identified in cervical smears
  • Pathology Sample collection

a An administration section is currently under development, where managers should be able to assign relevant courses for each staff member they manage, monitor progress and identify training needs using reporting tools.

Morphology Program DVD 2009

The RCPA QAP Virtual Microscopy have released a DVD of the October 2009 Morphology survey slides along with a questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire are posted on this website.

Expression of interest in a VM Program

A questionnaire was sent to haematology - morphology program participants in September 2010. The aim is to collect expressions of interest in a paediatric and non-paediatric morphology program using virtual microscopy.
